This policy explains cookies and similar browser storage used by FreeAirdrop.io. It reflects this website's features and should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and browser storage do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent with relevant requests. Local storage and session storage keep information in the browser without sending it automatically with every request. Blocking storage can affect preferences.
2. Website preferences
- Theme preference: local storage remembers light or dark mode until you clear it or change it.
- Cookie notice: local storage remembers Got it for up to one year in this browser. Clearing data, expiry or another browser may show the notice again.
- Directory position: temporary session storage helps restore your position when returning from an article.
- Language selection: translation applies to the current page; choosing English restores its original text.
3. Essential publisher cookies
The private publisher dashboard uses a session cookie for authentication and request protection. Public browsing does not start a publisher session. Blocking this essential cookie prevents dashboard sign-in.
4. Google Analytics
When a valid Google Analytics ID is configured for the public production website, this application loads Analytics after Got it or a previously saved affirmative Analytics preference. A previously rejected preference remains respected. Publisher, local and staging pages are excluded by the application. Analytics can use cookies such as _ga and _ga_*; their duration and collection settings depend on the configured service.
The notice acknowledges cookies; it is not a substitute for any additional consent controls required by applicable law. Browser settings and blocking tools can restrict tracking.
5. Cloudflare and external websites
Cloudflare may automatically add its Web Analytics beacon. Cloudflare describes that analytics service as not using cookies or local storage to measure visits. Separate Cloudflare security features may use necessary cookies when enabled. These services are configured separately from the application's Google Analytics setting.
Sponsor, project and social links lead to independently operated websites. Their cookies and policies apply after you visit them; our text and image banner rotation does not itself add an advertising-tracking script.
6. Managing stored data
You can inspect, block or clear cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing data also resets saved preferences. For privacy questions, use our Contact page.
